Terms of Service

This is the binding English version of the Terms. Translations, if any, are provided for convenience only.

By using NoteWallet, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

NoteWallet lets you log and review personal expenses by voice or text through Telegram. It is a personal finance tool, not financial, accounting, or tax advice.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use NoteWallet. If you are using NoteWallet on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Your account

You sign in with your Telegram account. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Accuracy and your responsibility

NoteWallet uses automated speech recognition and AI to interpret your messages. These technologies are not perfect and may misread amounts, currencies, dates, or categories. You are responsible for reviewing your entries and correcting any errors. NoteWallet is a personal tracking tool, not a system of record. Do not rely on it as your sole source for tax filing, accounting, reimbursement, or any other legal or financial purpose.

Not financial advice

NoteWallet provides expense tracking and summaries for your personal information only. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. Consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

Your data is yours

You own the transactions you log. You can export them to CSV or delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload, or reverse engineer it, and no using it to store unlawful content.

Subscriptions and billing

Some features require a paid subscription. The price, billing period, and payment provider are shown at checkout. Paid subscriptions are sold and billed by Lemon Squeezy, acting as our merchant of record, and by Telegram, via Telegram Stars. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time on the dashboard; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by the payment provider's policy. We may offer a free trial: the first month of recording is free, starting on your first successful expense log (not at sign-up). The trial requires no payment method. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan and billing begins at the then-current price. You can cancel any time during the trial to avoid being charged.

Changes to the service

We may change, pause, or discontinue free features at any time. For paid features, we will give reasonable notice before material changes that affect you.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard or by contacting us. Termination does not relieve you of obligations that by their nature should survive, including payment obligations for services already rendered.

Availability and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, NoteWallet is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Warranty disclaimer

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or the service will be resolved in the competent courts of Vietnam. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms removes the mandatory protections of the law where you live, and you may be able to bring claims in your local courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; we will revise the date above when we do. For material changes we will notify you in the app or through the bot. Continued use of the service after a material change means you accept the updated terms. Questions? Contact us.
